Based on the materials obtained in gold prospecting at Anna and Shilovskoye low-sulfidation quartz deposits, schemes of oxide ore vertical geochemical zoning were compiled. The most oxidized upper parts of these gold depo- sits are depleted in Au compared with primary ores but enriched in Pb, Sb, Ag, Cu and Zn at Anna deposit and Pb, Sb and As at Shilovskoye deposit. These elements are bound in hypergene minerals (pyromorphite, cerussite, anglesite, Fe arsenates, native copper, chalcocite, etc.). In geochemical prospecting for new gold deposits within areas of distinct ore oxidation processes, using additive haloes of elements accumulating on top of oxidized orebodies is recommended.
