Abstract

The Tashkergan granite intrusion forms a protrusion (0,04 km2) in dolomite-carbonate rocks not exposed to ero- sion; its formation was accompanied by skarning (endoskarn and exoskarns), greisenization and berezitization. Skarn deposits host vein, disseminated and massive copper-molybdenum-bismuth-polymetallic ores (with Au and Ag). Com- plex geochemical anomalies distinguish the skarn shell and greisen-berezite zones in granites, which suggest potential for the Tashkеrgan deposit depth extension.
