«Ores and metals» (Rudy i metally)

“Ores and Metals”   journal was first published on December 21, 1992. The founder and publisher of the journal is the Federal State Budgetary Institution Central Research Institute of Geological Prospecting for Base and Precious Metals (129-1 Varshavskoye Sh., Moscow 117545).

The journal is published every three months. The content of printed and online versions is absolutely identical. All issues of “Ores and Metals” are available on http://rm.tsnigri.ru.

Dear colleagues!

Over 30-year history of the journal, it has published more than 1750 scientific articles by leading specialists in the domestic geological exploration industry and researchers from foreign countries, both in Russian and in English. Ores and Metals is listed in the registry of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the academic degrees should be published maintained by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, as well as in international abstract databases and citation systems. All articles published in the journal are transferred to the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU for inclusion into the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) system.

Today, Ores and Metals is one of the leading Russian scientific journals in the field of Earth sciences which covers a wide range of issues of subsoil use, economics and conjuncture of mineral commodities, methods of forecasting, prospecting, and evaluation of ore deposits, comprehensive use of mineral raw materials, and exploration technologies. High quality of the published scientific materials, decent design, and modern approach to interaction with the readership guarantee the growth of interest in the journal and its demand.

Ores and Metals maintains partnerships with many scientific and practical conferences, meetings and symposia on geological topics. Leading scientists of the geological industry of almost all key scientific institutions and organizations, universities, mining companies, and geological expeditions of the Russian Federation cooperate with the journal.
