Abstract

Prospects of rare-metall and rare-earth mineralization identification in Mesozoic strata of Kuldzhuktau
mountains are considered. The main concentrators of rare-earth elements in Mesozoic strata are kaolinic clays, graphite crust of weathering and the horizons of ferruginous sandstones. As a result of analytical data systematization, more than 40 prospective sites with the elevated total concentration of rare-earth
elements are revealed. In most cases, ceric specialization of rare-earth elements prevails at the enriched sites
